It took the Gentle Woodsman 7 or 8 years to have a weekend like he did.

The river is also suffering a shortage of fish again this year, as the numbers are down again from 2 - 3 years ago.

Deep breaths, smell the Balsam, relax, keep it up the fish will come to you. Remember there is always the Kro-Bar. :-) Grizzlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04475409085513710290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5740537650847402215.post-50062915925869064212012-10-29T08:20:25.239-07:002012-10-29T08:20:25.239-07:00All good points. If swinging isn't doing it, I'm prepared to dead drift the nymph/egg rig like you said. We know the fish are there, so I guess we gotta give 'em what they want. And these are hardcore guys...

My confidence is way down up on that river...lots of low water has made it a tough swinging game. I know my luck will change...that's the only way to keep at it. That and throwing a nymph/egg rig once and while when the river/my brain needs it...

BTW..I think it took B-Shox like 7 years or something to connect to a fish on the swing up there...Matt Knoreply@blogger.com
